We loaded up the Metal Mulisha van last weekend with Vicki Golden and made the long road trip from Temecula, California to Albuquerque, New Mexico for Vicki’s 4th round of Amsoil Arenacross. Golden came into the weekend with high hopes of claiming her third and final point towards earning her 250SX Class endorsement for Monster Energy Supercross, but unfortunately, after struggling in the whoops during practice, the Mulisha rider came up a little short. Golden failed to qualify for the premier Arenacross class on both Friday and Saturday nights, but she did qualify for the Arenacross Lites class on Friday and lined up with guys for the night show.
“I’ve just been struggling a lot in the whoops,” said Golden. “There aren’t really any tracks to practice on that have whoops as big as what we ride in Arencross. I think Fitz is going to help me build a set at his house this week so that I can get some practice in and show up to the last two rounds ready to go.”
Check out some of the photos from our weekend in Albuquerque below and get an inside look at what goes down every weekend at Amsoil Arenacross.

Golden will follow the Arenacross series to Hidalgo, Texas this weekend where she will try once again to earn her third and final point necessary for a 250SX Class endorsement. If she qualifies for the premier Arencross class on Friday or Saturday night, Golden will become the first woman in history to earn a 250SX Class endorsement for Monster Energy Supercross through the Amsoil Arencross series. If you want to see Vicki race LIVE in Hidalgo, head over to the Arencross website for ticket information and grab your seats NOW! Be sure to check back next week for any further updates!
