BRIAN DEEGANS NEW ROCKSTAR ENERGY FORD FIESTA ST

  • 2 min read

The Metal Mulisha General, Brian Deegan, is ready to take on the 2013 season of Global RallyCross (GRC) and X Games behind the wheel of his new 2014 Rockstar Energy Ford Fiesta ST. Ford’s introduction of the Fiesta ST presented a significant difference along with improvements to the ST performance line. The Fiesta has proved itself as a true warrior during previous Championships held over the last two years. The Fiesta along with its teammates came off a successful 2012 GRC season, with one-two finishes at Charlotte and Las Vegas Motor Speedways, as well as the final race at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, plus a podium sweep at Texas Motor Speedway. The team also scored silver and bronze medals in last summer’s X Games. With OlsbergsMSE under the hood, Brian Deegan, along with teammates cannot wait to back-it-up once again during this all new season.

Rockstar Energy Drink coordinated a recent photo shoot with ‘The General’ in the heart of the Mohave Desert at the training facility of Twentynine Palms home to our Americas heroes, the United States Marine Corps. Deegan chose this location based on his commitment supporting our troops and he feels there is nowhere more “bad ass” than an military base to reveal his new appearance and specs of his 2014 Ford Fiesta ST.

This truly is a crafted race car constructed for the street; cranking 0 – 60mph in 2.0 seconds! The 2.0-liter Ford twin-cam Duratech four, caps it with its own cylinder head, and adds a Magnaflow exhaust fitted with a big Garrett turbo charged system for all that boost. Besides from the extreme output of the 550+ horsepower and 590lb ft of torque the OlsbergsMSE fabricated the bulletproof transmission suited with all-wheel-drive while incorporated a hydraulic handbrake. The shocks are from one of the best around, Öhlins, springs fromEibach, with brakes provided by Alcon and laced with 17-inch wheels by Motegis. Capping off this amazing machine, OlsbergsMSE restructures the body panels in Kevlar, and the rear spoiler in carbon fiber. Ford has been the GRC manufacturers champion for the past two years and with an all new season and X Games in Deegan’s crosshairs; you can expect another victorious performance from ‘The General’ and the ST team.
