An idea for the first POACHED Campaign off of the soil of the USA was on the list of things to do before the year of 2010 was over. It started a number of weeks ago with a phone call from International Metal Mulisha rider, Jason Thorne. Canada being our first choice, Thorne, and photographer Richard Roth (photographer) stumbled across the retired Millbrook Correctional Facility.
The Millbrook Correctional Facility was a Maximum Security Facility operating from 1957 -2003 build to handle the inmates that no other prison wanted or that any other prison can handle.
The crew meet up at the Thorne’s Compound to go over the strategy of a successful Poach. Making the final decision and gearing up Thorne was more than ready to take on this challenge undercover in his Mexican Luchadores Mask.

The crew towed the ramp through the back roads to get to the Correctional Facility figuring we had 40 minutes max until the police could get to site and arrest all of us. Tearing past the No Trespassing sign, pulling the ramp to the top of the hill up to the Facility walls was a challenge in it’s self. Thorne waiting patiently, as the crew lined the ramp up for his landing.

Thorne managed to hit the ramp eight times and then it was time to escape! While the crew quickly assembling the ramp, and the cops on their way, Thorne did some burnouts in front of the Penn to mark a successful Metal Mulisha Poach!
