The Metal Mulisha Off Road team was more than ready to take on a weekend of Lucas Oil Off Road Racing in Sin City out at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for round 13 & 14. Hailie Deegan kicked things off for the Metal Mulisha racing in her Junior 2 Kart. During Fridays race, Hailie finished up taking 9th place on a flat tire. Motivated and determined to make it to the front on Saturdays race, she held a great position, mixing up between the 2nd and 1st position finally pulling past the leader taking her first 1st place finish in the series. Congrats Hailie.

Todd Leduc fired up his Pro 4 ready to battle for a top spot on the podium. During Fridays race, Todd came past the checkered flag with a clean 3rd place finish. Saturday was a whole new day and with some Las Vegas luck Todd held the front position taking 1st place!

Ryan Hagy had a back-to-back podium appearance this weekend in his Super Lite. During Fridays race Hagy finished 3rd and came around for more on Saturday finishing off the race in 1st place. Congrats Hagy.

Deegan and Bean keep the fans on their feet during the Pro Lite race this weekend. On Friday night, Brian slid off the track out of first place after a few mechanical issues. On Saturday, both Deegan and Bean went to work in the front of the pack, but then Bean pulled off the track on lap five due to a serious mechanical issue that took him out of the race. Deegan continued to push around the carnage and stay in the fight but once again came short with a unfortunate issue with his truck.

However, Deegan’s fate was a little different in the Pro 2 category. Despite finishing 7th on Friday night after 2 major crashes, Deegan made the choice to drive smart and keep his eye on the final goal. Deegan drove to a 4th place finish on Saturday securing him and 11-point lead heading into the final LOORRS round in Arizona in October.
“Next stop we are heading into Firebird, which is my favorite track, so I’m going into it to win the race and win my second consecutive Pro 2 Championships. I may have lost the battle this week, but the goal is still winning the War come October 27th.” – Brian Deegan
Brian and the team are already preparing for that war at Firebird Raceway in AZ, “The General” will be ready to lead his team into battle and win the War!
