METAL MULISHA TEAM PREPS FOR NITRO GAMES

Metal Mulisha Team Members Jackson Strong, Rob Adelberg and Cal Vallone eyes are st on this weekends first ever Nitro World Games. The Nitro World Games will air LIVE on NBC Sports Network this Saturday, July 16th.

Jackson Jacko Stong’s family farm proved the perfect place for Jacko to learn to ride, and he did so at the ripe age of 5 years old. Jackson honed his skills over the next few years and by the age of 13 had become the youngest ever rider to join the Crusty Demons. Traveling around with the tour saw his career develop in leaps and bounds, and it was the belief of his mentor Robbie Maddison that saw Jacko come to the fore as one of the sports future stars. Regularly performing in front of crowds of up to and over 15,000 the then 15-year-olds first big break came in 2007 when he became the youngest rider to backflip a full-size motorcycle on the Unleash Hell tour. Jacko’s international career was kick started at the age of 17, where he traveled with the Crusty crew to South America. In his spare time he performed at a number of other shows across the continent, rapidly developing a reputation as one of the sport’s most fearless riders. It was his approach, work ethic and discipline that led Brian Deegan to invite him to join the Metal Mulisha, a group of freestyle motocross riders with close to a cult following in the sport. Strong spent 6 months at Deegan’s compound in Temecula, California, practicing and training with the best riders. Coming off a third consecutive GOLD Medal in X Games Moto-X Best Trick, look for JackO to pull something never before seen at Nitro Games!

Rob Adelberg, from Benalla, Australia, is one the of the new age FMX riders from Down Under. The 24-year-old, who got his first Red Bull X-Fighters podium with second place in Dubai in 2012, had his first photos published in Freerider MX magazine at the tender age of 14. Back then he was busting out big grab tricks on a CR80, and ever since he has steadily progressed to become one of the best up-and-coming riders in Australia. After nailing 3rd Overall in the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour in 2015, Rob backed up his performance with a SILVER medal at the 2016 X Games Austin FMX competition. Look for big things from this smooth criminal!

Cal Vallone a 25 Year Old hailing from the FMX heartland of Temecula, CA. Recruited by Metal Mulisha OG Jimmy Fitzpatrick, Cal has started to really make a name for himself in 2016. Cal made it into the Nitro World Games via the qualifiers held at FitzLand. This will be Cal’s first ever major contest, so look for this dude to pull out all the stops!
