Beau Manley rode with the early Metal Mulisha crew and appeared in Push It to the Limit. He came into freestyle with a racing background, starting on a dirt bike at four and turning pro at 16. He won an amateur dirt track national championship before his professional motocross and FMX career.

He later started ManleyMX in Southern California, coaching riders from their first days on a bike through more advanced motocross training, in both private lessons and group sessions.
