Jimmy Hill started around flat track through his dad and grandfather, then moved into freestyle after riding with his cousin. He learned backflips in 2010 and rode for Metal Mulisha from 2010 through 2013, spending time on the ramps at the MM compound.

His riding covers full-size dirt bikes and mini bikes, with flips, wheelies and freeride lines. After his MM years he put more time into freeriding rather than staying focused on freestyle contests. He continued filming and riding different setups, and earned an X Games silver medal in 2018.
