Nick Dunne rode freestyle for Metal Mulisha on the demo circuit and at the Southern California compounds. He favored whips on natural terrain and rode Ocotillo Wells, Fitzland and the Mulisha compound. His ramp tricks included nac flips, Indian flips and no hand candybars.

He traveled around the US for shows and rode the side-by-side ramps at Evel Knievel Days in 2012. That year he switched to a Honda CRF450, using the extra power for his tricks, and signed on for Nuclear Cowboyz. Between demos, he worked on putting together full runs for contests like the ASA World Championships.
