Dan Pastor helped build and ride the original Metal Mulisha compound. He and Brian Manley dug much of the upper section, which became known as Danimals Domain. The jumps were part of the setup where Link and the crew rode and filmed.

Dan teamed with Derek Garland at Surfercross in 2014, racing motocross and surfing as a pair.
