The Red Bull X-Fighters returns to the United States after a 2 year absence, ready to take on the 2012 World Tour in Glen Helen, California. The last X Fighters event on US soil was back in, 2009 at the Dallas Forth Worth Stockyards where Lusk finished up taking 3rd. This years competition at Glen Helen, boasts the biggest layout and most badass course in the history of Red Bull X-Fighters.

Metal Mulisha has a chance to take on a full podium sweep as Todd Potter, Rob Adelberg, Nick Dunne, and Wes Agee gear up to take on some of the world’s best freestyle motocross riders in this Saturdays round 2 of the X Fighters challenge. Potter and Adelberg came off round 1 in Dubai both laying down solid runs during the finals! Potter finished off with the ending result of 6th place, while Adelberg took full advantage of his first appearance in X Fighters, battling it out along side Sherwood, finishing off the night in 2nd place.

“I have been staying over at Deegan’s training there and been riding Potters a bunch just getting ready for X Fighters. Dubai was a good event, I finished 2nd and was super pumped but for Glen Helen I am getting my tricks dialed and looking for another podium with the rest of the M/M boys.” – Rob Adelberg
To shake things up a bit, Nick Dunne and Wes Agee are stepping into the rider line-up, both making their first appearance in the Red Bull X Fighters competition.

“Well I checked out the course a few days ago with the team. It has a bunch of dirt hits on it which we are used to out here in California. I think Potter, Dunne, Adelberg and myself all have a really good advantage going out there and taking this contest to the limit. This is my first big contest so I am going to let everyone see what I am all about. I’m pretty stoked, we are going to come out and make a good impression especially in our own backyard” – Wes Agee

“There is a lot of people out there that haven’t seen us ride contest because we aren’t in the contest scene so much yet.. but everyone will be surprised to see what we bring the day of the event. I am feeling really confident and ready for this.” – Nick Dunne
The Mulisha team has been putting in countless hours of training at Potters Compound, Fitzland, the M/M Compound, and Linkogles OG Compound. We just finished up filming and will have a video update set to release this Thursday from Potter’s and Link’s compound. Make sure to check back on our website for the full video update.
