X Games planted its roots on the third stop of the global tour taking place in Foz Do Iguaçu, Brazil. With each of the upcoming days mapped-out in contest for the Mulisha team; Deegan, Strong, Adelberg, Agee, and Dosch are ready to take on each of their event challenges and bring home those sweet X Games medals for all the Mulisha Troops!
‘roots’, today’s events kick off with Moto X Freestyle which marks the battle grounds for Jackson Jacko Strong, Rob Adelberg and Wes Agee. With Mulisha having a stacked field in this event, the boys are ready to lay it down, flush out the competition and secure a spot for Sundays FMX final event. Agee will be also gunning down a field of riders during the Moto X Best Whip competition immediately after the FMX event. Wes fine tuned his technique before showing up in Brazil ready to claim this event title. Get ready, because Wes can crack some really dirty whips and he’s about to raise the bar… big time!
Metal Mulisha’s BMX veteran, Brandon Dosch is scheduled to compete in X Games BMX Dirt during Saturdays events. Dosch told us the news a few months back at the M/M HQ once he confirmed his invite and he was pumped! This is the first time BMX Dirt has returned to the X Games since 2006. With a smile from ear-to-ear, Dosch knows he has this event in the bag!
Sunday ends the pace for the X Games Brazilian tour. The final rounds all come down to, Brian Deegan in Rallycross and the team riders who advanced into the finals from Fridays FMX event Deegan is a maniac behind the wheel of any of his rides. He’s claimed back-to-back championships over the last fews years in PROLITE and PRO2 during the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series with other awards received for his record breaking accomplishments. ‘Dirt Master‘… I’d say so! Last year Deegan started off his Global Rallycross season in Charlotte with some unfortunate mechanical issues. In a true warrior fashion ‘The General‘ pledged war and battled his way into the ranks with an epic comeback claiming three third-place and two-second place finishes narrowing the gap between him and first place in the points race. Deegan capped off the season with a second place finish in the Global Rallycross Championship final right behind his teammate Tanner Foust. Skill, fuck yeah he has skill… and with the Brazil Rallycross course laid out in what Deegan loves ( the dirt ) you can bet your ass he’s taking the top of the box.
