Todd Potter has proved himself as a top showman and competitor around the world claiming titles in a range of freestyle motocross events. For many that have had the opportunity to meet or know Todd, they find that behind the bars sits a humble individual. Todd has contributed support by involving himself with selected charities. Verizon mobile reached out to Potter along with designer, Lori Dennis, DJ, Zen Freeman and celebrity Chief, Ricardo Zarate to take part in a $10,000 dollar donation to the charity of their choice. We called up Todd to get the details on what has been going down in the life of Potter.

How has everything been Potter?
Right now everything has been great. I have been putting in a lot of seat time lately just training. Right now I am actually on the tractor fixing some spots on my course to practice for this upcoming X Fighters.

So how did you get involved with the 4G4Hope charity?
A good friend of mine Johnny has property surrounding my FMX course and we have become really close over the years. His niece Alyssa unfortunately suffers from the Lafora Disease and it really took on a impact with my life having a friend dealing with such a traumatic issue. Lafora disease is the most severe form of human epilepsy and kids are born with the terminal disease which doesn’t come into effect until their mid-teens. Sadly, there is no cure at this time. Verizon has been a great sponsor over the years and they approached me about this opportunity and I immediately wanted to take part and donate to a charity that helps research on the disease. I chose the Chelsea’s Hope Charity which represents hope for all children suffering from Lafora disease.
That’s really cool of you Todd! So what can we do to help you out and spread the word?
Right now I’m up against four other celebrity who have all picked a charity of their choice to donate to if they win. I have been really pushing this hard on my twitter, instagram and facebook page to get the Mulisha fans and my fans to vote for me.
