Nate Diaz
Nate Diaz came out of Stockton, won The Ultimate Fighter and submitted Conor McGregor on short notice. He joined the Metal Mulisha fight team in 2011.
Nate Diaz came out of Stockton training with his older brother Nick under Cesar Gracie. He won The Ultimate Fighter 5 in 2007 and built his UFC career around long boxing combinations, pressure and submissions. He beat Donald Cerrone and Michael Johnson and challenged Benson Henderson for the lightweight title in 2012.
When Conor McGregor needed an opponent at UFC 196, Nate took the fight on short notice at welterweight and submitted him in the second round. He went on to headline UFC 279 against Tony Ferguson and finished that fight with another submission.
Nate joined Metal Mulisha in 2011, with Nick already on the fight team. We released his signature 209 walkout tee for the Henderson fight and supported both brothers through that period of their UFC careers.
